There is a built in log burner that warms the whole room on the colder winter nights. The kitchen is at the far end and is equipped with a large American style fridge, a washing machine and dish washer as well as a 900mm Hoover Oven with gas hob.
All the kitchen cabinets were made by a local carpenter and they match all the other wood used in the construction.
The wooden beams are exposed in the kitchen and the lounge diner has a wonderful traditional wooden ceiling.
There is a collection of Indian hardwood furniture that enhances the farmhouse type of feel and the smaller than normal floor tiles also give an authentic country feel to the house.
The hot water is supplied by an intelligent gas boiler that is powered by gas from bottles. There is broadband internet that covers the majority of the downstairs and parts of the guest rooms.
There is ample off road parking.
